Lord Balducci of Fazzan is the inspiration for the character of Lotre. This Italian tale is just as fabulous and charming as its predecessor, The Merchant of Venice. As in that tale, an ordinary young man leaves his home, choosing a simple life on a farm. But when misfortune comes to his life, Lotre vows never to turn back to his homeland. He takes his beloved wife with him, and they sail for the rest of their lives – to a magical island where they are blessed with five children named Bianca, Fabio, Marco, Angelino and Lotti.
When the ship sinks, their lives are changed forever. It is here that they meet the beautiful Ariel, who transforms them into two magical lads, capable of facing all the dangers that life may throw at them. As their relationship deepens, they find that Ariel can also transform them into powerful warriors. The happy couple spends the next seven years mastering their skills as a warrior and master of the magic arts, forming a close bond with each other, and even
Written by Mauro Faviano, this romantic tale is one of the best Italian novels I’ve ever read. The way Faviano has woven the story is superb, creating a magnificent world that is full of colour and mystery. The way he has managed to create this world is outstanding, making sure that each page flows like a beautiful watercolor painting. All the main characters are beautifully drawn, and the colours are rich and appealing. Some of the illustrations are very poignant, and the story is written in a language that is easy to understand. The way that Faviano has woven his tale is extraordinary, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
Also published as a book, The Legends of Loret de Mee was recently short-listed for the Prix Goncourt, one of the most prestigious literary prizes in Europe. The book will be available from the beginning of next year, and I’m sure that it will receive many rave reviews. The book is a spectacular tale and focuses on the life of Lotre, a young woman from the Southern Isles who is thrown into a magical island after her mother is killed. While trying to return home, she meets everyone who knew her during her childhood and forms a new life for herself, along with a new set of friends. The role of Lotre is played by Alessandra Mastronardi, who is not only an incredibly talented actress but also has a fantastic voice, which adds greatly to the overall appeal of the book.
Besides the two main characters, there are also other minor characters such as Armand Morin, and Moise Tshana. Morin is described as an ancient healer who has magical powers himself and spends a lot of time meditating and healing others. The Ancient Healer is also a major player in the plot, using his knowledge and skills to help others. He also teaches Loret de Mee how to channel her power, creating a link between her life and that of her friend. This allows her to fully understand her destiny and the true meaning of her magical powers.
Overall, this book is an enjoyable read. It is full of action and excitement, and also contains a great deal of fantasy. It is easy to get caught up in the book and forget about the real world for a while. But, once you read it, you will feel soothed and refreshed, knowing that the characters in LOTRO have a strong reason for existing. The book also touches on some important themes, including family, love, faith, and even discusses the difference between good and evil.
